study advice for parents.as a parent you want your child to become one of the best students in the class or in the university, you tried many procedure with him, like telling him/her "study well", "you don't have anything except your studies, and it's your work", "i pay you to get high marks", "don't skip lectures or school and go else where" and many others, but he is still having low marks in his previous years and maybe failed a year several times, here is some advices for you to tell your child to have a better time with him/her regarding study advice for parents.

  • grow his/her vision: he/she maybe don't want to become like you, or you don't want him/her to become like you, know what he would like to be -if he's at school- and grow his vision, be specific. (for more information about how to have a vision google it "how to have a vision abyooda")

if he/she is still at school: if he/she likes what you are doing, try telling him/her that getting some certain marks at his high school will make him join the dream university he/she likes to, to be like you, and talk about how did you do it before specifically, and always be positive and show him/her the bright side.

if he/she is not interested for him/her in being like you, or you don't want him/her to be like you and have another plan for him/her: try knowing what he/she wants to be, and go with him/her step by step to what he wants.

for example: if he want to be a pilot and you don't know what he should do to become a pilot, so you want him to change his mind to be like you -a doctor-, here you should prevent yourself for doing such thing, and know more about how being a pilot can be done and which college he should join, and help him to achieve his goal, also don't forget to tell him the advantages and the disadvantages of what he want and what you want him to be, to let him choose what he likes to be.

  • if he/she is at college: it is not the end of the rout, also try grow in him a vision, like to be a T.A. in his field, or becoming the best of his friends as being the best gives him the optionality to even be better overall.
  • be always a motivator for him: give him prizes for his/her achievements, tell him/her if he/she got the full marks in a certain subject you will give him/her a certain prize, if not, don't give him anything, and make it a habit for him/her, as when he/she finishes the year he/she will tell you i got full marks in so and so, give me the prize, this will give them a boost motivation to achieve their goals.

don't stop growing the prize you are giving, while they are growing, not to let them forget about it, and feel they became elder than such kind of prizes.

for example: when your children are in elementary school, reward them a certain amount of money like 10$ for a full marks, they will be really happy with that, then in primary school make it a motorbike or a beach buggy and grow the this prize as they grow up.
